I’m Alicia Rose—the heart behind The Wanderlust Life, your connection to all things travel related.
I’m a Colorado-based travel advisor, photographer, hockey momma, and mountain lover living in Ken Caryl with my always-handy husband and our three wild + wonderful boys. When I’m not planning unforgettable trips or behind a camera, you’ll find me cheering at the rink, chasing sunshine outdoors, or lingering over good food and great conversation with people I love.
Travel, to me, isn’t about checking boxes or rushing from place to place. It’s about pressing pause. It’s about connection—connection to the people you’re with, the place you’re standing, and the version of yourself that feels most alive when you’re away from the everyday. I’m drawn to destinations with soul: mountains and coastlines, boutique hotels, vibrant cultures, slow mornings, rich flavors, and moments that stay with you long after you’re home.
I specialize in thoughtfully curated trips that feel personal, elevated, and easy—whether that’s a romantic escape, a family adventure, a girls’ getaway, or a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. I love blending beauty with intention: stunning places, meaningful experiences, and just the right amount of adventure (with plenty of room to relax, too).
Much like my photography style, my approach to travel planning is authentic, intentional, and tailored to you. I want you to feel confident, cared for, and genuinely excited—knowing every detail has been thoughtfully handled so you can simply show up and enjoy the magic.
